Easter Beauties
Mere Bulles Restaurant in Brentwood had me put together two large arrangements to decorate for Easter. They wanted lots of fun Spring colors. And I just loved the pussy willow branches! I grew up going into the woods behind my house with my brothers looking for pussy willow branches to bring to my mom every Spring.
Tropical!
This bride went with tropical, fun colors: oranges, blues, purples. Very happy!
The flower girl wore a halo or blue orchids.
A giant arrangement for the garden at Belle Meade Plantation. I LOVE putting these together, even if it is in the scorching heat on a ladder (the urn is about 5 feet tall).
Really pretty pew markers.

Dark Purple and White
Last November my little brother got married and I had the privilege of doing the flowers for his wedding. His wife picked a palette of purples and white.
She carried Picasso callas ringed with dark purple callas.
My brother wore a single Picasso calla accented with lily grass.
All the other flowers were whites and purples.
The pew markers.
Entryway arrangement.
On the staircase leading up to the ceremony area.
And I have to brag, a little. My daughter got to be the flower girl, and my son the ring bearer. My daughter was old enough to have an orchid halo to wear. My son, however, was a very naughty 20-month old at the time, and I didn't even bother trying to keep a boutonniere on him. We got him down the aisle by bribing him with Skittles - he had a mouth FULL of Skittles by the time he got to the altar area, and was drooling rainbow-colored drool. It was awesome.
The photographer took this fantastic shot of my little girl. Just had to share.

Nashville Venue Crawl, 8/4/13
Sunday I got to participate as a vendor for the Nashville Venue Crawl at Ruby. It was so much fun to be a part of this and work with such great people!
Each table had a theme and definite style. "Butter My Biscuit" - vintage farm feel. Daisies in the bride's bouquet, baby's breath centerpiece.

"Eat Your Veggies" - vintage-eclectic. I loved the veggies as decor, and set the bouquet in a terracotta pot for the tablescape.
"Ruby: black, white & read all over" - vintage-industrial. See above for the fun red carnation bouquet and boutonniere for this one. Tightly packed carnations as a kissing ball, or in this case a bouquet, is such a fun look with all their frilly petals looking like one giant flower instead of traditional carnations.
"Sparkle, Sparkle" - trendy and modern, clean. I had a hard time photographing this one, but the colors were blush, gold and navy. The bouquet was full of blush-colored roses with a few rhinestone accents for that extra sparkle look.
"Olive you!" - Earthy, natural, but refined. This was the most simple table, but really looks great. I tied olive tree foliage on the bride and groom's chairs, and the bouquet was a simple and sweet collection of white lisianthus and blush spray roses, accented with a little olive foliage.
This was my favorite table: "Orange you glad you came." Orange and turquoise, sophisticated but not stuffy. Oranges, peaches and creams accented with soft green succulents in the bouquet.

Ivory, Champagne and Antique Lavender
I loved working with Dana to set up a flower palette that was elegant and classic without being too over the top. She carried champagne-colored Sahara roses, ivory and green lisianthus and white callas.
The bridesmaids bouquets were champagne and antique lavender roses, lavender and green lisianthus.
The men wore mini callas. So classic. SO beautiful!
Statement piece for the main food table. Love the lighting!
Look at how awesome all the lighting was; uplighting on the walls, string lights above, and tons of candles on the tables with the centerpieces. Such a romantic glow for an evening reception!

Schermerhorn Preview
I did a beautiful wedding at the Schermerhorn Symphony Center at the end of April. The bride chose a bold palette of reds, purples with accents of orange and pink. I can't wait to see the professional pictures!
The bride carried a bouquet of mostly reds, anchored with red Gerbers.
iPhone photos aren't always the best, but you can see the bridesmaids' bouquets change in color like watercolors - darker purples, red, hot pinks, pinks, oranges and peach.
The reception was anchored with several of these large centerpieces (tables weren't fully set by the time I was done delivering and setting up).
I would also like to point out my awesome parallel-parking skills. I got my bubble-mobile into that tiny spot! You can count on me to deliver on time!

White and Lavender, Carnton Plantation
UPDATE: Professional Pictures. They are so much better than mine! The top three pictures are by Matt Andrews Photography. I watermarked them with my info, but it's JUST for the flowers.
Loved this lavender, white and green wedding. The bride carried a hand-tied bouquet of white hydrangea, lavender calla lilies, Polo roses, lavender roses, white lisianthus, green hypericum berries and heather. Stunning if I do say so myself!
The bridesmaids carried a smaller version of the bride's bouquet, less the calla lilies. Those were just for the bride and groom.
The pretty ladies together:
For the corsages I put together a sweet little collection of spray roses, hypericum berries and hydrangea on a pearl bracelet.
The tables were outfitted with pillows of hydrangea and lanterns. I can't wait to see the professional pictures from the evening with them all lit up!
